Set across 100 acres in Singleton, Hunters Lodge has been designed to provide a practical, safe and well-equipped environment for the education, preparation and care of thoroughbreds.
The property combines purpose-built infrastructure with a variety of work areas, giving horses different environments throughout their preparation while allowing the team to tailor each program to the individual.
Stables & Yards
Hunters Lodge features 40 spacious, well-ventilated boxes, supported by safe tie-up areas, wash bays and heat lamps.
There are also six undercover day yards, providing additional space for horses to relax and recover while remaining protected from the elements. Perfectly complimented with 15 paddocks
Training
The property includes two under cover round yards and a 30-metre bull ring and high speed treadmill.
Our 1,000-metre track provides a dedicated surface for conditioning work, complemented by a grass hill track and a grass showjumping arena, giving horses variety throughout their program.
Starting gates are also available on the property for education and preparation when required.
A Varied Training Environment
The property includes a grass hill track for conditioning and strengthening work, as well as a large open grass showjumping area that provides another valuable space for flatwork, jumping and general education.
The ability to vary a horse’s routine across different surfaces and settings helps keep work fresh and engaging, while allowing each program to be adapted to the individual horse and its stage of preparation.
Saftey & Transport
The property is fitted with horse rail and timber fencing throughout, with safety and practicality considered across the farm.
A safe loading ramp and brand-new six-horse truck also support the transport of horses to and from the property when required.
